Hey it’s been awhile. I’m currently studying for MIS 435 which is business telecommunications. I hope the professor doesn’t throw any curveballs (there were a few questions on the last exam that were kinda like “really?”), but I don’t think it will be too bad. It’s suppose to be dead week this week, but I have 3 finals – the MIS 435 exam which is Monday, MIS 434 which is E-commerce… I’m not worried about that because it’s multiple choice and it’s from a word bank, and Finance 301 which will be a PITA. I’ll have to dedicate quality time to study for that one if I want to do well. I’m sitting on a comfortable B+ which the class is on a bell curve. It’ll be really hard for me to get a higher grade because few people have an A and they would have to do horrible and I would have to do great to move up. Hopefully I can do that :3 I also have 2 papers to work on, one is 10 pages on woot.com, and the other is a social problems paper. I aced the last paper so hopefully the next one will be the same So yeah, busy busy.

I had my second interview in Denison! The place was nice and the people were nice. The interview went really well. The IT manager seemed to really like me. I hope all goes well! I’ll know if I got it or not by mid-January.

Otherwise my life is just chugging along. I’m going to meet up with some friends I haven’t seen in quite awhile so that’ll be good. (already met with one and it was fun) I’ll be in Ames for most of break to work. My roommate and I are going to learn ruby on rails for website coding for our next MIS class. The instructor does a horrible job in teaching you – you’re on your own, so that’s why we’re going to save the hassle later by doing it now.

I am bored in this class right now. Ugh, I need to study for History 222 instead. All the instructor is doing is reading off PowerPoint slides. It’s kinda lame that my roommate/friend hasn’t shown up to this class for the week at all. I’m a little more obligated to show up to class only because my instructor broke 3 bones in her foot so she asked me for help to walk to her car. I’m happy to help her, but I’m still bored to death in the class so I don’t want to be there lol. Oh well, life goes on… I hope to do well in my quiz for history tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Justification

So yeah I haven’t updated this blog in awhile. To keep you guys and gals up to speed, basically I’m at my last year of college and looking for a full time job. It’s crazy how far I’ve gotten, but at the same time I don’t feel like I’ve done enough for myself. I want to change that. Exactly how, I’m not sure quite yet. But I know that I need to work hard to move forward. I feel like I can do anything, even though I know the limitations I have. Good ol’ positive me, lol. But I’m determined to push forward. BRING IT!

I left my girlfriend of almost 3 years. I haven’t been in a relationship that long and it was great being with her. I wish she wasn’t as confused as she was which ultimately hurt me. I do feel I am part to blame, but some of the reasons were just simply… lame. (ok after reading this again, I did not intend to rhyme, I swear!) I still care about her and I do hope she is happy, but I need to move on. I do feel alone, but that can’t keep me back. Women are complicated I don’t really want to date anyone at the moment. Maybe after I graduate I’ll consider it but for now I need to focus on paving the way for my future. Hopefully with a good career, nothing too demanding but something that I’d love to do.

I have awesome roommates as they are good friends. One is really goofy which makes me even goofier than usual. I’m really glad that I’m living off-campus this year (despite Mediacom giving out really crappy internet service) and it kinda sucks that I’m paying rent out of my pocket instead of living on-campus and paying it off with scholarships/student loans but this will save me in the long run. It does put a strain to my finances in the short run (as long as I don’t spend on anything else so it doesn’t go long run) but I know I will thank myself later if do this.

Right now, one my friends is describing about a dream that involved a co-worker that make a cake with french fries. Who would make such a thing? lol

Alright folks, I need to get to bed here as I have to wake up in 6 hours (less than) so I can get to work in time. I hate Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays because they’re so jam packed with work and class. Ugh. Oh well…
